3. Manage Requisition Advertising
Search Committee Chairs and Administrators

  3.1 Advertising Information

Once all required background checks are completed and the hire is official, request to end online advertising on Jobs@UNI. Taking down the advertising for the requisition from the Jobs@UNI site will restrict any additional applicants from applying for the position. The requisition will remain fully accessible for Search Committee Chairs, Administrators, and members.

Click once on the Manage Requisition Advertising hyperlink to access the requisition Advertising Information options.

  3.2 Advertising End Date

When selecting an advertising end date, the preferred method is to use the prior day (day-before) the current date as the designated end date. Using the prior date will immediately pull down the Jobs@UNI online advertising for the requisition and bypass the email notification of an upcoming advertising end date. Select the advertising end date for the requisition by clicking once on the calendar date picker button.

  3.3 Advertising Date Options

To have the Jobs@UNI online advertising end at the specified date, select Standard 14 Days or Until End Date Above.

  3.4 Save Requisition

The final step in editing the requisition advertising information is to save the requisition.

Click once on the Edit Requisition button to save the requisition with the updated advertising information.
