UNI to postpone MLK Day of Service

The UNI Service and Leadership Council has decided to postpone the MLK Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 16 due to severe weather conditions. Volunteers will be contacted within 48 hours with more information regarding the postponement and rescheduling of the event.

WRC to open at 11 a.m.

Due to severe weather and in consideration of the safety of staff and patrons, the Wellness Recreation Center (WRC) will open at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 16. This time is subject to change due to conditions and will be updated at 9 a.m. on Monday.

UNI to commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr.

UNI will host "Dreams to Action: Dr. Eddie Moore, Jr.'s Perspective on Dr. King's Legacy," at 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 23, in Lang Hall Auditorium. The event will commemorate the life and work of Martin Luther King, Jr. and recognize local individuals who were instrumental in bringing King to the Cedar Valley.
