STEM-focused summer camps to be offered at UNI

UNI is offering a variety of activities this summer to keep students learning in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), by offering summer camps for middle school and high school students.

UNI's Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center was named the 2013 Attraction of the Year during the ninth annual Cedar Valley Tourism Awards held May 14.

Department of Residence reduces packaging with new dining program

In 2012, UNI's Department of Residence implemented ToGo, which allows students to get food directly from dining venues and take it with them. In the last year, $16,423.13 was saved on paper items in the dining centers and the number of disposed packaging items decreased by 503,535.
