Are you ready??  The Iowa State Fair starts tomorrow and I can't wait to go!  It is always a fun time seeing so many Panther Fans and people from all around the state - nothing compares!  I'll be there a couple different days.  If you see me, make sure to get a picture and share it with me on social media!  My Facebook and Twitter pages are linked on the side of this blog or right here (Facebook and Twitter).  I am looking forward to meeting new people and seeing old friends.  Keep your eye out for me - you never know where you might spot your favorite panther!

GO CATS!!

Summer Fun!

Wednesday, July 27, 2016

Hey Panther Nation!

TC and I have had a blast this summer.  We got to meet all of the new students at Freshman Orientation during June and July.  When we weren't there, we were in parades all around the state!  There are a few more times we will be in parades before school starts.  Make sure to keep your eye out for your favorite Panthers if you are at a parade soon!  I am looking forward to campus being full of students in just a few weeks.  Enjoy the rest of your summer and GO CATS!!!   --TK

Whirlwind of activity in athletics!

Friday, March 25, 2016

Greetings Panther Fans! Let me tell you, these past 3 weeks have been a PAWesome experience for me! All of the UNI Athletic teams are coming through and showing the nation who UNI is! This includes wrestling, softball, women’s basketball, and men’s basketball.

I had to opportunity to travel to Arch Madness for the men’s basketball team, and that was such an amazing experience. We knocked off Wichita State in overtime, and then won in a buzzer-beater to Evansville! All of you fans that were at the game and cheering from home, definitely made an impact! Winning the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament gave us a chance to dance in the March Madness Tournament! UNI was represented well in Oklahoma City! Not only did we have our own fans at the game, but we persuaded fans from other teams to join the Panther Bandwagon and cheer on our team!

While our men’s team was having success, the women’s team was as well! I loved going and supporting them through the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. We have now made it to the Sweet 16 in the Women’s NIT!

The success UNI athletics has had the past 3 weeks has been amazing, and I have loved being a part of it! Keep showing your Panther Pride everywhere you go! I don’t know about you all, but I sure am proud to be a Panther! GO CATS!!!
