Exemplary Service Award - this prestigious award recognizes F&O Division employees annually for continued and outstanding achievement in the division’s core values of service excellence, teamwork, or initiative.
Eunice A. Dell Award “Making a Difference” - division employees who, by their actions - on campus or in the community - have made a difference.
All nominations for both awards must be submitted by November 30, 2017.
Award recipients will be recognized publicly during the division’s annual recognition luncheon on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.
Eligibility and Nomination
Exemplary Service Award
By reaching higher and farther, exemplary service recipients demonstrate the ways that all division employees can help the University of Northern Iowa achieve new heights of excellence. This award honors staff members in the departments listed below that demonstrate a continued and extraordinary commitment to the Finance and Operations Division’s core values. Nominees should stand out as exemplary in one or more of the following areas: Service Excellence, Teamwork or Initiative. All non-temporary UNI Finance and Operations Division employees are eligible for the nomination after a minimum of two years of service. Submissions in paragraph format are encouraged so nominations convey the outstanding work of the nominees. The content of the descriptions will bear more value in the selection process than the style in which the descriptions are written. Eunice A. Dell Award "Making a Difference"
Recipients of the Eunice A. Dell award truly make a difference at UNI. In honor of Eunice Dell, this award was created for employees who embody her spirit by nurturing diversity and respect, promoting service and being active in their community. The recipient leads by example, is compassionate and is a champion of access and opportunity for all. Eunice Dell served the University of Northern Iowa and the Division of Finance and Operations with distinction for 31 years.
