Daryl Smith, Tallgrass Prairie Center, will discuss "Iowa's Prairie Heritage" with an Illustrated presentation regarding Iowa's pre-settlement plant communities and animals, discussion of the effect of landforms and landscape on settlement patterns and how visitors reacted to the tallgrass prairie. Refreshments will be provided.
