International Opportunities Fair

Come and learn about study abroad opportunities. Meet past participants, faculty and staff. Learn about financial aid, scholarships, credit transfer, international travel and study-work-internship-research volunteer abroad. Free admission. There will be more than 50 exhibitors.

During the event we will celebrate Passport Day. If you want to renew or apply for a new passport, the Black Hawk County Recorders Office will be there to assist you.  For renewal you will need to bring your old passport. For new, you will need to bring a certified birth certificate and your drivers license. In both cases, cost is $110 plus $25 for processing fee or $40 (with photo) to be paid by check or many order that same day. Click here for detail information on passport application requirements.

National Student Exchange Day

Did you know qualified UNI students have the unique opportunity to attend one of more than 165 colleges and universities across the U.S. and Canada? National Student Exchange provides this opportunity all while paying UNI tuition. Attend NSE Day to hear from former students about their experiences while on exchange, learn from the NSE coordinators and have all of your questions answered. Visit www.uni.edu/continuinged/nse-day to view the event schedule.

Global Trade Issues Conference

UNIBusiness will host the 2015 Global Trade Issues Conference. The one-day conference addresses issues of concern in the current global environment and features speakers from businesses involved in international trade.

The conference is intended to offer information for Iowans doing business internationally, provide an opportunity for networking with others engaged in international business operations and offer a chance for UNI students and faculty to gain cutting edge insights into global trade practices and issues.

Conference check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. The agenda will include approximately three main speakers, a student competition team presentation during lunch and networking time.

The conference is free but registration is required. Register at Business.uni.edu/GlobalTrade by October 14, 2015. Pre-registered off-campus participants will receive a parking pass and map prior to the conference.
