Dylan Marron will present "Beta Snowflake Cuck: Being a Digital Creator in 2018". Marron is an IFP Gotham Award and Drama Desk-nominated writer, performer and video maker. He is the voice of Carlos on the hit podcast "Welcome to Nightvale," an alum of the New York Neo Futurists and the creator of "Every Single Word." Marron is a writer, correspondent and the most recognized face of Seriously.tv, where he created the viral smashes "Sitting in Bathrooms with Trans People, Shutting Down Bullsh*t," and his signature Unboxing series. In his podcast "Conversations with People Who Hate Me," he reminds his audience, "Remember, a person is on the other side of the screen." The lecture is free and open to the public.

This lip syncing competition has participants using music from their favorite hip hop or R&B artists. Students can compete individually or in a duo.
A conference-style workshop for all advisors, including multiple choices in breakout sessions, and a large-group panel discussion about First-Generation College Students at UNI.
Art instructors will guide participans through step-by-step instructions to create a masterpiece. It will provide a fun but relaxing time by painting and sipping a sparkling beverage with friends. No painting experience necessary.
Ariel Ennis will teach about Faith Zone Multi-Faith training. He is a renowned speaker and author of the book Teaching Religious Literacy: A Guide to Religious and Spiritual Diversity in Higher Education. This is a workshop to promote spiritual and religious literacy and dialogue, in the efforts to encourage multifaith collaboration. This event is open to people of all backgrounds. Refreshments will be served.
This interactive session will assist participants in identifying the causes and symptoms of stress in their lives. Participants will become aware of a variety of positive coping strategies that may be helpful in reducing their stress and have an opportunity to practice.
Ariel Ennis will lecture about his book Teaching Religious Literacy: A Guide to Religious and Spiritual Diversity in Higher Education, about how it ties into the Multi-Faith training which will be occurring later that day. His lecture will touch on how Faith Zone has worked at New York University and how it can work at UNI.
The labyrinth is in the form of a circle with a meandering but purposeful path from the edge to the center. While walking the labyrinth, one may feel joy in slowing down the pace of life and find peace, insight, reflection, creativity, relaxation and wisdom. It can be made available for student organizations, events and meetings.
School of Music brass division faculty artists will collaborate to present a recital with repertoire and additional collaborators to be announced. This event is free and open to the public.
