Join the Earth & Environmental Sciences Department and STEM Support Services as we celebrate the April 8 Solar Eclipse on campus. Free and open to all, the Solar Eclipse Open House will provide students, faculty, staff, and visitors the opportunity to experience the eclipse. Activities will take place outside, south of the Campanile from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. A telescope will be available to view the eclipse. Activities and information will be available under the event tent, including a braille eclipse book.

The UNI Physics Department invites interested high school-aged homeschooling students to participate in a series of hands-on physics activities during the Fall 2023 semester. Activities are conducted in one of our studio lab spaces within Begeman Hall, and emphasize hands-on data collection, analysis, and representation.
When: Weekly on Thursdays, September 7th- November 16th EXCEPT October 12th
Time: 3 pm - 5 pm
Cost: Free! But Registration is REQUIRED.
