Policy regarding Faculty notification of Grade Changes

Present such facts as are needed to establish the importance of the problem your petition addresses and to indicate its present status: 

Based on recent discussions at the UNI Faculty Senate related to various policies including Academic Ethics and Academic Grievances, it became clear that there is no clear policy regarding notification of faculty members in the event of a student grade change.

Clearly indicate the action you wish the Senate to take relative to your petition, beginning with the phrase, "Therefore, be it resolved....": 

Therefore, be it resolved that the Faculty Senate direct the Educational Policy Commission to develop a policy regarding notification of faculty when a grade change is considered and/or actually made. Such policy should then be submitted to the Faculty Senate for approval/endorsement and then forwarded to the Office of the Provost.
