Convert music record to digital file

  1. Place your music record on the record player.  Place the needle at the desired location..
  2. Open Sony Vegas Pro.  Select the desired settings.
  3. Click the Record button at the bottom of the screen in Vegas.
  4. Press Play on the record player.
  5. Press Stop on the record player at the desired location.
  6. Click the Stop button in Vegas.
  7. Trim the recorded clip to your desired length.
  8. Select File < Render.  Choose your desired audio format.  (WAV, MP3, AAC, etc.).  Select the save location.  Click save.
