This non-thesis degree, which prepares students for career opportunities in businesses utilizing chemical and/or biochemical processes and instrumentation, is open to students who have earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry or biochemistry. It combines chemistry coursework featuring advanced topics and hands-on use of modern instrumentation with business coursework focused on problem-solving and decision-making.
Students interested in the program must submit to the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department a complete application (click on links below), three letters of recommendation, and transcripts of undergraduate and graduate work. The Graduate Record Examination (General Test) is not required for admission to the program. A TOEFL score of 600 is required for international students who are non-native English speakers.
