Adult Swim Lessons
Small personalized class for persons of all abilities who want to learn basic swimming skills or who wish to perfect their strokes. This class also offers a good environment for students preparing their swimming skills for a lifeguarding or water safety instructor course.

Parking is available on the west side of the WRC in the metered lot. Meters are monitored from 7:00am- 9:00pm M-F. Meters are not monitored on weekends. The metered lot may be closed for events hosted in the UNI-DOME. We will try to alert participants of parking lot closings.
Inclement weather that includes lightning will require the closing of the WRC pools. The pools will close when a storm is in the area. You may choose to call the WRC prior to driving to the building. Please call the main welcome desk at 273-2413 for information concerning lessons and severe weather closures. Unless the University and/or the WRC is closed we will continue paddling panther group swim lessons with dry land training.

Each month UNI Personal Fitness Program Assistant & Personal Trainer Ethan Crawford will host two workshops covering a variety of health and fitness topics for the UNI Community.

Get off the couch - Runners/Walkers Club - NEW!
This 8 week online training program will get your feet moving even if you can't run/walk one mile. Class will give you several running or walking programs based on your current fitness level. Coaching will be online and an option to meet for group runs several times. Upon completion, register and complete your first 5k and get a bonus prize. T-shirts for all who complete their personal fitness goals. Running tips, nutrition, weight loss and motivation along the way. Beginners wanted!

Intuitive Eating Workshop
This six week workshop is especially designed for the chronic dieter. Participants
will learn how to reject the diet mentality, deal with feelings without using food, honor hunger and stop eating when satisfied, normalize the relationship with food and practice the principles of intuitive eating.
