National Eating Disorders Awareness Week: Feb. 23 - Mar. 1, 2014
Eating disorders are serious mental illnesses that affect many students on campus. You can make a difference by doing just one thing this week to spread awareness! One way you can get involved is by attending the Eating Disorder Panel Discussion on February 27th at 4:00 in SEC 247. Listen to real stories from individuals who have struggled with an eating disorder. Professional staff from the Health Clinic and Counseling Center will be available to talk about services on campus and answer questions. Throughout the week, look for the displays and table tents in the Wellness and Recreation Center, Maucker Union, and dining centers. Take the time to educate yourself and others about the seriousness of eating disorders. Read more!
Finals week brings every semester to a close and Wellness/Recreation Services aims to keep it as stress free as possible by offering De-Stress Days. Maucker Union has hosted the occasion since 1996.
Next De-Stress Days Event: Monday, May 5 - Wednesday, May 7 2014 from 11:00AM – 2:00PM in Maucker Union.
