From Treaties to Speeches: U.S. Diplomacy Between the Wars, 1919-1941

After the destructiveness of World War I, the U.S. as well as the rest of the world wanted to avoid another global conflict. This course will examine the efforts to keep the U.S. at peace, including treaties negotiated by the government and speeches by prominent Americans, such as Charles Lindbergh.
