Company members from the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles will lead pre-service teachers through a stimulating conversation about bullying and LGBT topics. The philosophy of the It Gets Better project is that the answers to every community's questions can be found with that community. General topic areas include bullying, school and classroom climate for LGBT students, supporting at-risk students, and using It Gets Better Project videos in the classroom. Each student will receive a certification of participation. Pre-registration required.
