Panther Open Houses are held several times throughout the year for prospective high school and transfer students. You and your family can meet with faculty members and talk about majors, minors, classes – all things academics. You’ll get the inside scoop from current UNI students who will take you on a tour of campus and eat lunch with you in one of our dining centers. Your campus visit wraps up with a group session on admission requirements, financing your education and living on campus.

The exhibition is a formal presentation of recent accomplishments by the faculty in the UNI Department of Art. It is an opportunity for students and the public at large to experience current themes in contemporary art and also to meet artists who not only teach but also maintain vibrant professional careers in studio art, graphic design, art history, and art education. The opening reception begins at 6 p.m., Mon., Oct. 9, in the KAB South lobby.

Visiting artist Wesley Warnhoff will present a clarinet recital. Warnhoff serves on the faculty at the University of Missouri, He has a bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University and received his master’s and doctorate from Michigan State University. He plays in the VCP Trio and Battle Creek (Mich.) Symphony Orchestra. Before his appointment at MU, he taught at the University of Wisconsin and several colleges in Michigan. This event is free and open to the public.

"The Aliens" is a delicate and subtly observed drama chronicling the characters' struggles to survive, connect and find meaning in their lives. Written by Annie Baker, whose other works include "The Flick," "John" and "Circle Mirror Transformation." Mature Content (14+). This production will contain smoking of non-tobacco products.
