Camp Adventure Child and Youth Services Informational Session

Camp Adventure Child and Youth Services Informational Session

Tuesday, October 3, 2017 -

5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Camp Adventure Child and Youth Services will have an informational meeting. Camp Adventure Child and Youth Services provides services to children on U.S. military bases world-wide. Programs are available working with school age programs, child development center programs, middle school programs and aquatics departments. We serve locations in Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Hawaii, Florida, etc. Programs begin in June and end in August with a living stipend of approximately $1,750 for 10 weeks. Travel and housing are paid.

Celebrate Homecoming with UNI Proud! We will be having our annual BBQueer, which means free food, awesome people and a good time!!

There will be a combination of hamburgers, hotdogs and vegan burgers along with s'mores, chips and beverages. Plus, a fire to keep us all warm and roast marshmellows!

Threehouse is located right across the street from the President's house (look for the rainbow vetricle banner) and we will be in the backyard. If it rains, we will move inside.

Hearst Lecture Series: Sarah Jaffe

Sarah Jaffe will present "Necessary Trouble: Americans in Revolt." 

Necessary Trouble is the definitive book on the movements that are poised to permanently remake American politics. We are witnessing a moment of unprecedented political turmoil and social activism. Over the last few years we’ve seen the growth of the Tea Party, a twenty-first-century black freedom struggle with BlackLivesMatter, Occupy Wall Street and the grassroots networks supporting presidential candidates in defiance of the traditional party elites.
