In 2017-2018, UNI is offering a new event called the UNI Master Teacher Series, featuring Dr. André Thomas. The UNI Choirs Master Teacher Series is designed exclusively for educators. An exhibition of photographs by Doug DuBois organized by Aperture Foundation, New York and Hermés Foundation, Paris and curated by Cory Jacobs. On Thurs., Sept. 7 at 6 p.m., Dubois will present a lecture about his work in Kamerick Art Building, room 111. An opening reception will follow. Note, the Gallery will be closed Mon., Sept. 4 Labor Day. Free and open to the public.

A prairie walk at UNI Tallgrass Prairie Center's "Hayfield Prairie" will commemorate Iowa Prairie Heritage Week. The walk will be led by Daryl Smith and Bruce Stiles. Meet at the west end of 31st Street Exit west off Hudson Road and park after you pass the "Road Closed" sign.
