Spring into Wellness is a wellness and activity fair that will allow students to explore and learn more about the eight dimensions of wellness. Various student and professional organizations will be available to speak with students regarding services and resources they offer. Free activities include Walk the Labyrinth, de-stressing activities, life size drinking and driving simulator, fatal vision goggle activities, give-aways, food and more.
The topic of this meeting is customer discovery interviews (CDIs). All majors are welcome.
Campus Activities Board (CAB) will have a screening of "Hunger Games-Mockingjay Part 2." Popcorn, soda and candy will be provided.
The Muslim Student Association will host International Hijab Day. Attendees will learn about the hijab (the Islamic headscarf), women's rights In Islam, view photos of influential Muslim women and try on hijabs.
Darwin Week is a week long lecture series hosted by UNIFI. Every year UNIFI brings in scientists, philosophers, and skeptics
from all over the country and from our very own campus to speak on issues of importance. This year Rebecca Goldstein, Dr. Robert
Wallace, and Michael Shermer will be coming to UNI to speak at Darwin Week.
Students attending the graduation fair will have the opportunity to confirm graduation status, apply for graduation and commencement, purchase a cap and gown, complete exit loan counseling, have a resume critiqued and more.
The Spring Leadership Conference: Give, Serve, Lead will be held on three Tuesdays in Feburary. The third event will be team challenge activities. Participants will learn how to facilitate team challenges and receive additional team building materials. These activities can be used as ice breakers, conflict management strategies and in other environments. Cookies and lemonade will be provided. Registration is required.
