First Friday

Socialize with friends and new acquaintances to celebrate Native American Heritage Month. The Dakota Access Pipeline will be highlighted with a discussion about actions for students to get involved. Food, activities and educational information will be provided.

Green Zone Training

Green Zone Training is for faculty, students and staff who wabt to learn more about the military affiliated student experience. The goal is to train members of the UNI community to know more about the issues and concerns faced by military affiliated students and to identify individuals who are available to support these students. These individuals are not expected to be experts who can “solve problems.” They are individuals who can lend a sympathetic ear and help the student veteran identify and connect with the appropriate resources. To register, contact Norman Ferguson.

Room Selection Begins for First-Year Students Returning to On-Campus Housing

For first-year students who currently live on-campus, room selection begins for the 2017-18 academic year. Students may reserve their room in any hall and select a meal plan. Priority reservation dates were distributed to students in November. Students can check the date and time of their individual priority reservation date by logging-in to the housing & dining contract. During this time (1/24-2/3), the single room waitlist will be open. Following (2/6-2/10), the Lawther Hall waitlist will be open.
