UNI's Advocates for Alzheimer's will be hosting our Annual Pancake Brunch this coming Saturday, April 16! Admission is $5 per person and includes pancakes, sausage, fruit, and
refreshments. All the proceeds go directly to the Alzheimer's Association to support Alzheimer's awareness and research. Come enjoy a delicious brunch for a great cause!
The Middle Eastern Dance Club and dancers from around the Midwest will perform a variety of styles of Middle Eastern and fusion dances, with a few surprises thrown in as well.
The Film Appreciation Club will screen the Academy Award-nominated film "The Shawshank Redemption."

The Spring Diversity Showcase's theme is Celebration of Cultures and will include a variety of international traditional food, a fashion show and performances. Individuals and organizations are provided a platform to perform or showcase their culture and/or talents. There will be henna art, a traditional attire booth and more.
The Film Appreciation Club will watch the Academy Award-winning film "Mad Max: Fury Road" on the big screen.
North Star Community Services will host two sessions for volunteers to paint canvases. Participants shoud meet by the CME for busing to North Star. The canvases will be sold later at an auction to help raise fund for North Star Community Services. The sessions will from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. and 12:20 to 1:45 p.m.
The Service and Leadership Council will host a Service Night that will include various small service projects. Service projects include making dog and cat toys as well as nursing home decorations.
NorthEast Iowa Food Bank will host a backpack program. Participants should meet by the CME for busing to the food bank. Backpacks will be prepared for children who do not have enough food to eat at home.
