Let's Talk Session

Let’s Talk is a free program that provides students with easy access to informal and confidential consultations with licensed mental health professionals from the UNI Counseling Center. All sessions are drop-in; no appointment is necessary.

Free Depression Screening

By participating in this 40-50 min. screening, students can learn more about depression in its different forms and determine if they might be experiencing it. However, there is no requirement that someone be depressed in order to attend the screening. The screening also offers the opportunity for students to visit the Counseling Center and meet some staff members without necessarily starting counseling. The screening is free, and no registration is needed. Students will be provided with information about depression, complete the screening form and meet individually with a counselor to review the results.
