The Financial Literacy Browsing Fair will offer participants information about a variety of financial resources offered at UNI, as well as within the community. Informational booths will be available for the following areas: student loan information, budgeting for on or off campus housing, recognizing identity theft and how to avoid it, developing a spending plan, recognizing the affects of gambling, saving money through energy efficiency and what to consider before accepting your first job. Snacks and prizes will be available.
The first Panthers Achieving Financial Success Conference will kickoff National Financial Literacy Month. Two tracks of sessions will be offered. Staff from the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will be available to assist students in checking their loan balances, accessing credit reports, and more. Prizes will be provided throughout the day.
