The Clothesline Project 2017

Join the UNI Women's and Gender Studies Program in participating in the Clothesline Project. In recognition of Relationship Violence Awareness Month, WGS will host t-shirt decorations to raise awareness for violence against women. People who have been affected by violence, be it first-hand or otherwise, are invited to decorate a t-shirt with their thoughts, feelings and supportive messages surrounding the subject. These shirts will then be hung on a clothesline for all to see.

"Department of Art Faculty Exhibition"

The exhibition is a formal presentation of recent accomplishments by the faculty in the UNI Department of Art. It is an opportunity for students and the public at large to experience current themes in contemporary art and also to meet artists who not only teach but also maintain vibrant professional careers in studio art, graphic design, art history, and art education. The opening reception begins at 6 p.m., Mon., Oct. 9, in the KAB South lobby.

Majors in Minutes

Majors in Minutes allows students to explore majors from students who are currently enrolled in those majors. In a speed-dating style, students will spend eight minutes per table asking questions and learning about a particular major. Music will signal the end of each session and students can choose to stay at that table or move to another table.
