Guest Artist Master Class: Alisa Belflower, voice clinician

Visiting artist Alisa Belflower will present a voice master class as part of her two day residency at UNI. Alisa has musically directed, coached, and/or directed over 100 productions. A passionate advocate for little-known musical theatre repertoire, both older and newer, she created, the first multimedia encyclopedia of contemporary musical theatre composers on the internet. She currently serves on the faculty at both the Johnny Carson School of Theatre & Film’s acting/directing faculty and the Glenn Korff School of Music’s voice faculty at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. This event is free and open to the public. 

UNI Singers & Symphonic Band

Under the direction of UNI School of Music professor and conductor Amy Kotsonis, the UNI Singers will share a concert with the Symphonic Band, led by conductor Danny Galyen. Visiting artist Andrew Boysen Jr., conductor and composer, will appear with these ensembles as part of the 2015-16 School of Music guest artist series. This event is free and open to the public.

Viola Festival

Coordinated by faculty artist Julia Bullard, the UNI Viola Festival will offer hands on workshops as well as guest artist performances. A festival concert will be held featuring guest artist Basil Vendryes, viola. For more details, contact This event is free and open to the public.
