Guest Artist Master Class: Edmund Cord, trumpet

Visiting artist Edmund Cord will present a trumpet master class for UNI students. Cord has performed with Doc Severinsen, Ella Fitzgerald, Henry Mancini, Marvin Hamlisch, the Moody Blues, and others in jazz and commercial genres. Often requested for commercial recording dates, he performs frequently with the Indianapolis Symphony, the Carmel Brass, Broadway touring companies, big bands, and other ensembles. This event is free and open to the public. 

Concert Chorale

Under the direction of UNI School of Music faculty artist and conductor John Len Wiles the UNI Concert Chorale will offer a fall choral music concert. This event is free and open to the public.

Faculty and Guest Artist Recital: Ross Winter, violin, Julia Bullard, viola, Suzanne Bullard, cello, Taemin Han and Miah Han, piano

Visiting artists Taemin Han, Miah Han and Suzanne Bullard will collaborate with School of Music faculty artists Ross Winter and Julia Bullard to present an all-Mozart program. This event is free and open to the public. 

Guest Artist Recital: Jerry Young, tuba

Visiting artist Jerry Young will offer a tuba recital. Young is Professor Emeritus of Tuba and Euphonium at the University of Wisconsin-Eu Claire, and has been a member of the music faculty at UW-Eau Claire since 1983. Young served on the faculty of the Interlochen Arts Camp from 1983 to 1993 where he founded the Interlochen Tubafest and performed regularly as a soloist and chamber musician. Dr. Young has appeared across the U.S., Europe, and Japan as a soloist, chamber musician, clinician, lecturer, and adjudicator. This event is free and open to the public.
