Earth and Environmental Science Seminar

"Internship Experiences," several earth and environmental science majors will describe their diverse intership experiences and provide helpful advice for current student seeking to find and excel in such activities. Internships are an integral part of the major programs in earth and environmental science, which have in the past led to long term employment in a wide range of fields.  

Spotlight Series: UNI Singers

The UNI Singers, under the direction of faculty artist Amy Kotsonis, will present a spring concert. The UNI Singers is a large, mixed-voice choir featuring student musicians from many majors at UNI. Spotlight Series: Jazz Band One w/ guest John Wojciechowski, saxophone

Director Christopher Merz will lead UNI’s premiere jazz ensemble in their spring concert. The concert will feature student and faculty arrangements, new compositions as well as performances featuring guest artist John Wojciechowski, saxophone. Spotlight Series: Performance Competition Finals

One of our most interactive performances of the year, the UNI School of Music Performance Competition Finals concert is a great opportunity to get involved in the music education of our students. This showcase features talented student finalists competing for the Presser Foundation Award, the Charles and Marleta Matheson Award, the Myron and Ruth Russell Award and the People's Choice Award. Spotlight Series: Concert Chorale & Varsity Men’s Glee Club

One of the largest and most popular choral ensembles on campus, and a group with a rich tradition of excellence, the UNI Varsity Men’s Glee Club will offer a shared spring concert with our premiere choral ensemble Concert Chorale. Spotlight Series: Duo Pianists – Sean Botkin & Dmitri Vorobiev

Sean Botkin and Dmitri Vorobiev, exceptional faculty pianists and artistic directors of the Midwest International Piano Competition, will present a preview concert building anticipation for the 2016 competition. Both artists are well-known for their outstanding musicianship and artistry at the keyboard. You won't want to miss this! This event is ticketed. $10 Adults, $9 Seniors, $8 non-UNI students.
