TheatreUNI: Twelfth Night

In celebration of Shakespeare’s 400th birthday, Theatre UNI presents "Twelfth Night, or What You Will." Shakespeare’s funniest comedy tells the story of the lovesick Duke Orsino and the beautiful Viola. It is a tale of shipwrecks, sword fights, love triangles, cross-dressing and mistaken identity which also contains some of his most beautiful poetry.

Theatre UNI: Dead Man's Cellphone

“An unexceptional woman embarks on a loopy odyssey into the lives of others when she inherits the phone of a stranger she meets in a cafe” (New York Times). The non-stop ringing of a cell phone is the instigator for our journey into life, death, compassion, love, and romantic intimacy. This play won a Helen Hayes award for Best New Play in 2007.

Lunchtime cribbage

Do you like to play cribbage? Are you on campus at noon on Thursdays? Play at Rod Library, at the tables near the library coffee shop. Bring a board and cards if you have them and play a game or two with someone.  Open to students, faculty, staff and the community.

The Clothesline Project

Join the UNI Women's and Gender Studies Program in participating in the Clothesline Project. In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, WGS will host t-shirt decorations to raise awareness for violence against women. People who have been affected by violence, be it first-hand or otherwise, are invited to decorate a t-shirt with their thoughts, feelings and supportive messages surrounding the subject. These shirts will then be hung on a clothesline for all to see.
