Musically Speaking Lecture

Visiting artist Dr. Melanie Batoff, assistant professor of music at Luther College, will present a lecture as part of the “Musically Speaking” series. The lecture will be titled, "The Past Meets the Present: Strengthening Community through the Visitatio sepulchri Liturgical Drama." This event is free and open to the public. 

Guest Recital: Judith Saxton, trumpet

Visiting artist Judith Saxton will present a trumpet recital. Judith Saxton enjoys a multi-faceted career as an international soloist, chamber and orchestral musician and educator and has been lauded as a “virtuoso player and superb soloist”. A Certified Alexander Technique Teacher (ATI), Judith embodies  these principles in all her interactions including her “Healthy Playing Habits” and “Breathing, Breaks and Basics for Mindful Music Making” presentations for universities and festivals and populations of varying ages across the nation and the world. This event is free and open to the public. 

Guest Recital: "Comedy Tonight" - Diane Reich, soprano, Robert Brandt, baritone and Scott Holden, piano

Visiting artists Diane Reich, soprano, Robert Brandt, baritone, and Scott Holden, piano will present a recital titled “Comedy Tonight”. Reich, Brandt and Holden all currently serve on the faculty at Brigham Young University and perform together frequently. This event is free and open to the public.
