Visiting artist Steve Darling will present a tuba/euphonium recital. A leading soloist amongst a new generation of tubists, euphoniumists, and trombonists, Steven is currently the Adjunct Professor at Murray State University, and holds a Master of Music in Euphonium Performance & Brass Pedagogy from Ohio University in 2015 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Steven has achieved success in both international and local competitions. This event is free and open to the public.
Under the direction of percussion faculty artists Ryan Frost and Matthew Andreini, the UNI Percussion, Marimba, West African Drum and Kaji-Daiko (Taiko) Ensembles will offer their fall concert. This event is free and open to the public.

Visiting artist Judith Saxton will present a trumpet recital. Judith Saxton enjoys a multi-faceted career as an international soloist, chamber and orchestral musician and educator and has been lauded as a “virtuoso player and superb soloist”. A Certified Alexander Technique Teacher (ATI), Judith embodies these principles in all her interactions including her “Healthy Playing Habits” and “Breathing, Breaks and Basics for Mindful Music Making” presentations for universities and festivals and populations of varying ages across the nation and the world.
