UNI Right to Life, a student-run organization, will be having a three-day series, An Educational Series on Abortion, of videos and discussions to promote a dialogue on the essence of life. The discussions and videos shown will be as unbiased as possible, in order to give factual representations so people can form their own opinions. The third day of the event is:
Thursday, November 15- Human Life vs. Personhood- Sabin 2, 7 pm- We will discuss the issues regarding the humanity of a fetus, the biological criteria for life, and how personhood is defined.

Wednesday, November 14- Selective Abortion- Sabin 02, 7 pm- There will be a video and facilitated discussion on what it means to be able to choose characteristics of the people coming in to the world. We will also discuss laws and processes regarding selective abortion as it exists today.

Tuesday, November 13- What is abortion? - Sabin 02, 7 pm- We will discuss what the different abortion procedures are, including when they are performed, how long they take, their costs, safety, and possible complications. These presentations will all be done using models and the information will be from medical professionals.

Dr. Noel Tichy will present a lecture focusing on the keys to creating companies with strong values, speed and the intelligence to sustain success, decade after decade. Using examples from GE, Ford, Dell, Southwest Airlines and many others, Tichy presents and analyzes these principles in action and shows how managers can begin to transform their own businesses into teaching organizations and, consequently, better-performing companies. A reception will follow the lecture.
This conference will promote a better understanding of culture, ethnicity, race, socioeconomic status and the needs of African-American children and families. Spend the day networking, sharing and meeting new colleagues to help improve the quality of lives of children and families. More than 50 projects from twelve school districts will be displayed for the public to explore and enjoy. Each of these projects was created as part of the students’ instructional curriculum in their schools. The projects span eight different categories including 3-D rendering/non-linear animation, graphics/publishing, innovative technology use, mobile apps, music/sound design, programming, video/linear presentation and web presence.
