iPads and iOS 10

Older university-owned iOS devices not supporting iOS 10 that are running the latest iOS 9 version may continue to be used for the current fiscal year. The effective lifetime of an iOS device is about two years, or perhaps as much as three years if the latest is purchased the day it becomes available. Departments may wish to reconsider their use of these devices if budgets do not permit the shorter life cycle.
