This is my third year at the Registrar’s Office J
What do You Enjoy Most about Working in the Office?
Most importantly, I LOVE the staff that I work with and the customers that we see on a daily basis.
Also, I enjoy learning about the “ins and outs” of the University.
What Would You Like Others to Know About the Office of the Registrar That They May Not Already Know?
I really want others to know about our WEBSITE, EMAIL, Facebook, and Twitter pages! Our social media pages are EXTREMELY helpful and if people know about them, I believe they will utilize them.
What Fun/Interesting Things Can You Share Concerning Your Internship Experience Occurring This Spring?
This Spring I will be student teaching in the Charles City/Mason City area and I will soon be finding out the specific schools that I will be placed. I will have an elementary placement and a middle school placement, and I’ve never been more excited for anything in my life!! J
What Do You Believe to be the Most Valuable Thing You Have Learned From Working and Studying at UNI?
Wow – How could I ever pick one thing?! UNI has taught me to be independent, to work hard, to set goals, to meet new people, how to be a great teacher, and SO much more! I have grown so much as a person in my four years at UNI and I’ll always be able to call UNI “home.”
What Are Your Future Plans After Graduation? Where Do You See Yourself In 10 Years?
After graduation, I plan to find a teaching job in an elementary or middle school in Iowa.
In ten years, I hope to be a successful teacher who is starting a family! I also hope to have my Master’s degree in ten years, as well.
