Frequently Asked Questions

What to do after we have your prescription request:

  • Relax and read a current magazine while you wait a few minutes for us to bill your insurance and fill your prescription.
  • Pick up your prescription when called by the pharmacy staff. The pharmacist will counsel you about the medication and answer any questions you may have about it.
  • Pay with cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, or put it on your University account (U-Bill, E-Bill). You will also need to sign for our privacy policy and to verify that you picked up the prescription.

    How do I refill my prescription?

    Your UNI Pharmacy is happy to provide several ways to order your refills.

    • To order by phone, just call (319) 273-7997 & leave your name, student ID number, 7-digit prescription number, phone number, and name of your medication.
    • Stop into the UNI Pharmacy and request a refill. There may be a wait with drop in refills as prescriptions are processed in the order received.
    • Give us half a business day and your medication will be waiting for you - instead of you waiting for it!
