CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa will host Kindergym, an informal learning program focusing on the development and refinement of motor skills for 2- to 5-year-olds.
The program will be offered Saturdays from 9 to 9:50 a.m. for 4- and 5-year-olds and from 10 to 10:50 a.m. for 2- and 3-year-olds. Sessions will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, through Saturday, Nov. 1, in UNI's Wellness and Recreation Center main gym.
Physical activity stations will focus on age-appropriate movement skills that encourage success in a fun atmosphere. Kindergym is a parent/child program, and parents are requested to attend the sessions with their child.
