CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa College of Humanities, Arts and Sciences is offering summer camps through the Iowa Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) for summer 2014.
The camps include a variety of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)-related opportunities that are available to the community, including elementary, middle and high school students. Topics include robotics, digital storytelling, video and game design, cyber security, exploring the prairie, neuroscience and more.
Iowa EPSCoR is aimed at building research capacity and increasing competitiveness for Iowa through investments in infrastructure and human capital. The camps are designed to encourage and provide increased access for student participation in STEM disciplines. Scholarships are available for students who meet certain requirements.
