Summer Break Closing:

The Student Health Clinic will close for the summer break beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 31st. until Friday August 21nd at 8:00 a.m. Medical and Pharmacy services will not be available during the break. The Student Health Clinic will re-open for Medical and Pharmacy services at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2015.

If you have an urgent medical problem at any time during our closure, you may be seen at one of the local urgent care centers. Please visit the Student Health Clinic hour’s webpage at http://www.uni.edu/health/about/hours for information and locations.

If you have immunization records to submit they can be faxed to: 319-273-7030 or emailed to healthcenter@uni.edu If you have questions regarding your Student Health Insurance Plan premium, please email connie.potter@uni.edu or call 319-273-7736.

If you require assistance prior to Friday, August 22, 2014, please call 319-273-2009 and choose option #1 to reach a receptionist Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Welcome to the Student Health Clinic at the University of Northern Iowa. We specialize in college health. We offer high quality primary care services provided by Board Certified Family Practice Physicians, Board Certified Physician Assistants, and a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Additional staff includes a pharmacist, nurses, and a lab technologist. We understand today’s college students and we are committed to assisting you with your healthcare needs.

All registered University of Northern Iowa students are eligible to use our services. We encourage you to schedule an appointment by calling (319) 273-2009. We are located on West 23rd Street next to the Schindler Education Center: http://www.uni.edu/health/about/location/

To be prepared for your visit to the Student Health Clinic you should:

  • Bring your health and pharmacy insurance cards.
  • Know all medications & doses you are currently taking.
  • Know your medication allergies and sensitivities.
