(Resolved at 6 PM CST) CAS issues preventing UNI users from logging into UNI eLearning, UNI Email, MyUniverse, etc.

The CAS issues were resolved at 6 p.m. CST. Users should now be able to log in again. If you experience problems with logging in, please contact the Computer Consulting Center (CCC) by calling 319-273-5555.

(RESOLVED @ 12:58 p.m.) UNI eLearning OUTAGE beginning at 11:45 a.m. CST

At 12:58 p.m. CST, the UNI eLearning System was accessible again.

Beginning around 11:45 a.m. CST, all users have been unable to access the UNI eLearning System due to a major campus network issue(s). ITS Network Services is working on resolving the issue(s). The UNI eLearning System is stil running but due to the network issues, users are not able to get to the UNI eLearning System. We apologize for the inconveniences this outage is causing.

(Completed) UNI eLearning System Unavailable - Wed, Dec 30, 2015 - 5-7 a.m. CST

On Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. CST, users may NOT be able to access the UNI eLearning System due to the scheduled border network maintenance that will cause an Internet Service Outage.

(Completed) UNI eLearning System Maintenance - Wed., Dec. 23, 2015 - 6-7 a.m. CST

On Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. CST, the UNI eLearning System will be UNAVAILABLE for maintenance to install application server patches. These are patches for the server that UNI eLearning System runs on. There are no changes to the UNI eLearning (Blackboard Learn) software.

(RESOLVED @ 5:19 p.m.) UNI eLearning System Slowness starting at 4 p.m.

At 5:19 p.m. CST, the UNI eLearning System appeared to operate at normal speeds again. The team is still investigating the cause of the slowness, but believe the issue has been resolved. If you experience slowness issue with UNI eLearning System, please contact the Computer Consulting Center (CCC) by calling 319-273-5555.

On Monday, November 30, 2015 from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. CST, the UNI eLearning System will be UNAVAILABLE while we restart the application server, the database, and Blackboard software.

(Resolved) Turnitin Outage - November 22-23, 2015

Turnitin experienced intermittent service issues from Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 10:38 p.m. CST through Monday, November 23, 2015 at 12:52 a.m. CST.
Students: If you had a Turnitin assignment that was due during this period, please contact your Instructor.
Instructors: If you had a Turnitin assignment that was due during this period, please extend the "Due date" or "Allow submissions after the due date".

(RESOLVED) UNI eLearning OUTAGES on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015

Resolved at 7:04 p.m. CST: The UNI eLearning System should be available as of 7:04 p.m. CST. Due to major network issues that affected most UNI Systems, the UNI eLearning System experienced two unexpected outages this evenings. The first outage occurred from 4:40 p.m. to 5:35 p.m. CST. Another outage occurred from 6:13 p.m. to 7:04 p.m. CST. We apologize for the inconveniences these outages have caused.

Students: If you were in the middle of taking a test/quiz and got "kicked out", please contact your Instructor.

Instructors: If you had a test available from 4:30 p.m. to 7:05 p.m., please allow students that report an issue during that period another test attempt. If the Test Availability period has expired, you may need to use the "Test Availability Exceptions" section in Test Options. (Resolved) Unexpected Access Issue to the UNI eLearning System

On Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. CDT, access to the UNI eLearning System was unavailable due to an issue that occurred during a scheduled Network Services maintenance. The UNI eLearning System was running; however, users were unable to reach the system. We apologize for the inconveniences this unexpected distruption caused.
