Tabatha Cruz and Eric O'Brien are most recent RA Alumni honored for career accomplishments
Congratulations, Tabatha Cruz and Eric O'Brien! Tabatha and Eric were recently honored with the 2013 Class of 20 Under 40.
Tabatha brings a range of perspectives to her role as program coordinator of the UNI Center of Multicultural Education. The Waterloo Courier article about Tabatha summarizes the path of her family life and education. Her co-workers recognize her as a kind and courageous person who is always encouraging others. As a former Resident Assistant she's an influential ambassador for living on campus.
Eric's accomplishments are outlined in a feature article in the Waterloo Courier. Eric and Sara O'Brien met at UNI and served on-campus students as Resident Assistants in 2000. Eric's leadership of sustainability efforts at UNI have included involvement with in-room recycling in residence halls, composting pre-consumer food waste in UNI dining services, the Panther Plot (groundbreaking photos) and coaching students to make a difference through thoughtful use of resources.
Former RA Amy Mohr was honored in the 2011 20 Under 40 Class.
