UNI Continuing and Distance Education to host conference
UNI Continuing and Distance Education will be hosting a distance education conference highlighting the indicators of quality instruction and student interaction in online courses. The conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, at Maucker Union.
Lawrence Ragan, Director of Instructional Design and Development in Continuing and Distance Education/World Campus at Penn State University, will deliver the keynote presentation from 1 to 1:50 p.m. Entitled “Online Student and Instructor Views of Quality of Instruction,” the keynote will investigate learner perceptions of online instructional quality and discuss the interpretation and use of such findings. UNI faculty and staff will also present an array of sessions on the effective use of technology in online teaching and learning.
