TEACHING 5133 WKSP: The Connected Teacher -- 1 unit(s)

This workshop will cover free web applications available to educators to use in getting connected. Those connections can improve communication among students, teachers, and parents. Part of the class time will be spent investigating using gaming software such as Gamemaker and Minecraft as well as other simulation software. Some of the free web applications we will cover include Mailchimp, Twitter, Skype, Screenr, Prezi, iPresent, Pinterest, Vine, and Instagram. We will focus on how to use these programs but also how you can use them in your curriculum.
