COUN 6233 WKSP: Creativity and Counseling -- 3 unit(s)
Explore various creative counseling interventions with individuals, couples and families. Discover the intersections between the creative and therapeutic process and how to use creativity as a stimulus for change in counseling. Examine topics of music, drama, dance, visual art, literature, play, humor, phototherapy and cinema therapy and apply it to diverse case examples. Didactic and experiential learning, role plays and demonstrations are included. Students need no formal training or experience in the expressive arts.
