MATH 3204 Mathematical Reasoning for Teaching II -- 3 unit(s)
This course will be the second in a three-course sequence of content courses for elementary education majors. The algebraic content of the course will involve understanding patterns, relations, and functions; representing and analyzing mathematical situations and structures using algebraic symbols; and using mathematical models to represent and understand quantitative relationships. The statistics content of the course will involve collecting, organizing and displaying relevant data to answer questions; selecting and using appropriate statistical methods to analyze data and developing and evaluation inferences and predictions based on data.
