TEACHING 5133 Workshop: Engaging in Elementary Experiences -- 2 unit(s)

Students will work in elementary classrooms as volunteer aids to gain valuable experience with children and teaching in an elementary classroom. This will consist of 30 hours of engaging in elementary classrooms and will require daily journaling and the development/submission of two days of lesson plans in a specific content area. Students are expected to provide whatever aid the classroom teacher requires. Two credit hours an be obtained each semester for a maximum of 4 total credits that can be accrued.
