Spring Break in Ghana
Enjoy a cultural experience in Ghana, March 13 to 22, 2009!
Leave from Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Friday evening March 13 and return Sunday afternoon March 22.
Costs:
Airfare- approximately $2200 if ordered early may get down to $1800.
Visa- $50 (Must get Yellow Fever Vaccination Prior to applying for Visa)
Food and Housing with Drum and Dance lessons for 5 days- $350 per person (5 or more in group-$315)
One night of house in Accra will be approximately $35 if sharing rooms
Ground Transport- $70- group of 5 or more- total cost is $200
includes pickup and return to airport, trip to Kopeyia, visits to market, internet cafe, beach, etc.
Need Malaria Pills and usual vaccinations

Learn basket-weaving for $20
Learn and make Batik clothe for $40
A large drum with a carrying case costs $70 and can be carved with your choice of items. This can be ordered ahead of time for use while in the village.
