What you need in Ghana

Study Abroad Application

Costs:

    Airfare- approximately $2000 if ordered early may get down to $1600.

    Visa- $50 (Must get Yellow Fever Vaccination Prior to applying for Visa)

    $1000 In-country costs

·        Food and Housing with Drum and Dance lessons for 5 days- 

·        Hotels  and meals in Accra and Cape Coast

·        Ground Transport- includes pickup and return to airport, trip to Kopeyia, visits to market, internet cafe, beach, etc.

Need Malaria Pills and usual vaccinations

Other options:

Learn basket-weaving for $20

Learn and make Batik clothe for $40

A large drum with a carrying case costs $85 and can be carved with your choice of items.  This can be ordered ahead of time for use while in the village.
