l  To reflect as Global Citizens the value of learning about and understanding other cultures

l  To know more about the work and ministry of CEPAD.

l  To work side-by-side with Nicaraguans in their community work

l  To get to know Nicaraguans in their daily life with all the challenges and hopes they have, spiritually, socially, economically and politically.

9:30 a.m.      Coyuntura-Aynn Setright- History and Development of Nicaragua

11:30pm      Lunch

12:30   Tour Managua-Peace Plaza – market- Tiscapa Zipline

Lunch in Matagalpa

Go to community

Stay in home stays, but all meals together as a group with group discussions

Afternoon free for shopping and sightseeing

Friday, May 21

7:00am      Head out for Volcano Boarding or hiking at Cerro Negro Volcano

Noon                Lunch at Beach- hang out.

Drive back to Managua

Dinner in restaurant in Managua – stay at CEPAD

 

Saturday, May 22

4:00am     Coffee, Juice, toast, etc. available

4:30am     Leave for airport

 

 

Each evening the group will have discussions concerning the day’s activities and what is being experienced by group members.
