The departmental newsmagazine English at UNI is dedicated to connecting students, alumni, faculty and staff. The publication was founded by the UNI Professional Writing Program, and is written, edited, and designed almost entirely by students.
English at UNI was
made possible by one of the UNI Cooperative Education "20 Best
Internships on Campus." In 2007, a "20-On" stipend was awarded to the
newsmagazine, in response to a grant proposal submitted by the
Professional Writing Program. This stipend enabled the Program to
create the Managing Editor's position and develop the premiere issue.
