English at UNI Newsmagazine

As part of their educational experience, students in the Professional Writing Program at UNI develop a wide range of communications. Students also have the opportunity to work on the staff of the departmental newsmagazine English at UNI, a publication entirely student-written and designed.

English at UNI is dedicated to connecting students, alumni, faculty and staff. The publication was made possible by one of the UNI Cooperative Education "20 Best Internships on Campus." In 2007, a "20-On" stipend was awarded to the newsmagazine, in response to a grant proposal submitted by the Professional Writing Program. This stipend enabled the Program to create the Managing Editor's position and develop the premiere issue^{^}.
