Advanced GLOBE Workshops

The Advanced Workshop is an opportunity to network with other teachers who are implementing GLOBE, review protocols and skills, learn new protocols and find ways to better integrate GLOBE into your curriculum. Each Advanced Workshop focuses on one or two parts of the GLOBE Program. The 2002 Advanced workshops focused on the GLOBE Special Phenology measurements and the new GLOBE Atmosphere Protocols (Surface Ozone, Wind Direction, Relative Humidity, Aerosol and Barometric Pressure). Information about 2003 Advanced workshops will be available in the fall. Current plans include an Advanced Workshop related to student research, inquiry and use of the GLOBE database.

Advanced Workshop Spring and Summer 2002

Advanced GLOBE Workshops are free to the teachers who qualify to attend (for 2002, must have completed a BASIC GLOBE Workshop and received GLOBE Certification and must be an Educator in the State of Iowa). Lodging and meals are included. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Participants may attend more than one workshop.
