Medieval Literature in English
Department of English Language and Literature Position: Tenure-line Assistant Professor, Medieval Literature in English, to begin Fall 2008; nationally competitive salary and superior benefits. Attractive teaching load: teach specialized and general literature courses and Liberal Arts Core courses (writing, literature, or humanities). Required Qualifications: Ph.D. earned by June 2008 (specific evidence of completion date required); specialty in Medieval literature in English; evidence of competence and commitment to teach lower-division English literature from the beginning to the present, especially that of the pre-Modern era, as well as upper-division and graduate courses in a range of topics (period and/or thematic) related to Medieval literature in English; evidence of potential for excellence in teaching, research, and publishing.
