As an opening activity, you have the opportunity to explain your perception of the role of a technology coordinator. This explanation can be based upon what you have read, what you have heard and even personal experience. Be as specific as you can. Explain your perception of: a technology coordinator's responsibilities, activities, daily chores, and place of administrative importance in the educational system.

Please post your response to the What is a Technology Coordinator? (Prolog) forum. This is a "pretest" to force you to consider the role of the Technology Coordinator. As you might guess, it will be followed by a "posttest" at the end of the semester where you will again post your response to the question "What is a Technology Coordinator?" Hopefully your ideas will have changed.

Leadership: Now that you have shared your ideas about a TC's duties, share your ideas about what makes a leader. Tell us the attributes of a successful leader. You might even want to share your experience with individuals who have possessed these attributes and what they accomplished with them.

You are also going to be responsible to read all of the responses and reply to two. This is a great way to get to know the other class members and begin to exchange ideas.
